Job description

Curriculum Development: Designing and planning engaging lesson plans, activities, and assessments that align with curriculum standards and educational objectives for mathematics education. Maths Instruction: Teaching mathematical concepts, principles, and problem-solving techniques across various topics such as arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and statistics. Providing instruction on mathematical reasoning, logic, and critical thinking skills. Differentiated Instruction: Tailoring instruction to meet the needs of students with diverse learning styles, abilities, and backgrounds. Providing additional support or challenges as needed to ensure all students can succeed in mathematics. Hands-on Learning: Incorporating hands-on activities, manipulatives, and real-world examples to make mathematical concepts more tangible and accessible to students. Encouraging exploration, experimentation, and discovery in learning. Technology Integration: Leveraging technology tools and resources to enhance mathematics instruction, such as interactive whiteboards, educational software, graphing calculators, and online learning platforms. Problem Solving: Facilitating problem-solving activities and exercises that require students to apply mathematical concepts and strategies to solve practical problems, puzzles, and challenges. Encouraging perseverance and resilience in problem-solving. Critical Thinking: Promoting critical thinking skills by asking probing questions, encouraging students to justify their reasoning, and challenging them to think creatively and analytically about mathematical concepts. Assessment and Feedback: Assessing student understanding and mastery of mathematical concepts through quizzes, tests, projects, and other forms of assessment. Providing timely and constructive feedback to students to support their learning and improvement. Individualized Support: Providing individualized support and intervention to students who may be struggling with specific mathematical concepts or skills. Offering additional instruction, resources, or tutoring as needed to help students succeed.
