Job description

Curriculum Development: Design and develop mathematics curriculum, lesson plans, and instructional materials aligned with educational standards and objectives for different grade levels or courses. Classroom Instruction: Deliver engaging and interactive mathematics lessons that cover topics such as arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, and probability. Use a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, demonstrations, problem-solving activities, and hands-on exercises. Problem-Solving Skills: Teach students problem-solving strategies, critical thinking skills, and mathematical reasoning techniques to tackle complex mathematical problems and real-world applications. Differentiated Instruction: Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs, abilities, and interests of students, providing support and challenge as needed through individualized or small-group instruction. Mathematical Modeling: Introduce students to mathematical modeling concepts and applications, such as modeling real-world phenomena, analyzing data, making predictions, and solving practical problems using mathematical methods. Technology Integration: Incorporate technology tools and resources into mathematics instruction, such as graphing calculators, educational software, interactive whiteboards, and online learning platforms, to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. Assessment and Evaluation: Assess student learning through quizzes, tests, homework assignments, projects, and performance assessments. Provide constructive feedback to students on their mathematical understanding, problem-solving skills, and mathematical reasoning abilities. Mathematical Discourse: Facilitate mathematical discourse and collaborative learning experiences that encourage students to explain their thinking, justify their solutions, and engage in mathematical discussions with peers.
