Job description

Curriculum Development: Develop and implement lesson plans and instructional materials that align with curriculum standards and educational objectives for teaching Malayalam language and literature. Language Instruction: Teach the fundamentals of the Malayalam language, including reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills. Introduce students to Malayalam alphabets, vocabulary, grammar, and sentence structure. Literature Studies: Introduce students to Malayalam literature, including poetry, prose, drama, and essays. Analyze and interpret literary texts, themes, characters, and cultural contexts to deepen students' understanding and appreciation of Malayalam literature. Cultural Awareness: Promote cultural awareness and appreciation by integrating Malayalam culture, traditions, customs, and folklore into language instruction and literature studies. Explore the rich cultural heritage of Kerala and its influence on Malayalam language and literature. Writing Skills: Guide students in developing writing skills in Malayalam through composition, creative writing, and essay writing exercises. Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve their writing proficiency and expression. Reading Comprehension: Enhance students' reading comprehension skills in Malayalam through the analysis and interpretation of literary texts, passages, and articles. Encourage students to read a variety of texts in Malayalam, including literature, newspapers, and magazines. Oral Communication: Facilitate oral communication skills in Malayalam by encouraging students to engage in conversations, discussions, debates, and presentations in the target language. Provide opportunities for students to practice speaking Malayalam in authentic contexts.
