Curriculum Development: Design and develop instructional materials, lesson plans, and curriculum content for teaching Malayalam language and literature, aligned with educational standards and learning objectives. Select appropriate textbooks, reading materials, audiovisual resources, and digital tools to support teaching goals and cater to students' needs and interests. Classroom Instruction: Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that facilitate student learning and comprehension of Malayalam language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Employ a variety of teaching strategies and techniques, such as lectures, discussions, role-plays, storytelling, and language games, to accommodate diverse learning styles and preferences. Integrate cultural elements, traditions, and customs of Kerala into lessons to promote cultural appreciation and understanding among students. Language Skills Development: Teach Malayalam grammar rules, sentence structure, vocabulary, and pronunciation to improve students' language proficiency and communication abilities. Facilitate reading comprehension activities, including analyzing Malayalam texts, identifying main ideas, understanding context, and interpreting literary devices. Guide students in developing writing skills through exercises in composition, essay writing, letter writing, and creative writing in Malayalam. Language Acquisition and Fluency: Provide opportunities for students to practice speaking and listening skills in Malayalam through oral exercises, dialogues, debates, presentations, and language immersion activities. Encourage students to express themselves confidently in Malayalam and provide constructive feedback and correction to help improve pronunciation, intonation, and fluency. Assessment and Evaluation: Design and administer assessments, quizzes, tests, and exams to measure students' progress, understanding, and proficiency in Malayalam language skills. Evaluate students' written work, assignments, projects, and performances, providing feedback and grades based on established criteria and learning objectives.
