Job description

Curriculum Development: Designing and developing lesson plans, teaching materials, and instructional activities that align with curriculum standards and educational objectives for Malayalam language education. Language Instruction: Teaching the fundamentals of the Malayalam language, including pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, syntax, and writing systems. Providing instruction on reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in Malayalam. Literature Studies: Introducing students to Malayalam literature, including works by prominent Malayalam writers, poets, and playwrights. Analyzing literary texts, themes, characters, and cultural contexts to deepen students' understanding and appreciation of Malayalam literature. Cultural Education: Educating students about the cultural heritage, traditions, customs, and practices of Kerala and the Malayalam-speaking community. Incorporating cultural elements into lessons and activities to promote cultural awareness and appreciation. Writing Development: Providing instruction and guidance on writing skills in Malayalam, including essay writing, creative writing, poetry, and other forms of written expression. Helping students develop clarity, coherence, and creativity in their writing. Oral Communication: Facilitating opportunities for students to practice speaking and listening skills in Malayalam through conversations, discussions, role-plays, presentations, and storytelling activities. Assessment and Evaluation: Assessing student progress and learning outcomes through quizzes, tests, projects, presentations, and other forms of assessment. Providing constructive feedback to students to support their language development and improvement. Individualized Instruction: Tailoring instruction to meet the needs of individual students, including those with varying proficiency levels and learning styles. Providing additional support or challenges as needed to accommodate diverse learners. Classroom Management: Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to language learning and cultural exploration. Establishing clear expectations, routines, and behavioral norms for students. Parent Communication: Communicating regularly with parents or guardians to provide updates on student progress, academic performance, and areas for improvement in Malayalam language learning. Collaborating with parents to support student learning at home. Professional Development: Engaging in ongoing professional development activities to enhance teaching skills, stay updated on best practices in language education, and deepen knowledge of Malayalam language and culture.
