Curriculum Development: Design and develop curriculum for logistics and supply chain management courses based on industry standards, academic guidelines, and emerging trends. Update course materials to incorporate new developments in logistics practices, technology, and regulations. Instruction and Delivery: Conduct lectures, seminars, and workshops to teach students theoretical concepts and practical skills in logistics and supply chain management. Use teaching aids, multimedia presentations, and case studies to enhance learning and engage students in the subject matter. Practical Training and Simulation: Organize practical sessions, simulations, or field visits to provide students with hands-on experience in logistics operations, warehousing, transportation, and inventory management. Supervise and evaluate student projects, assignments, and dissertations related to logistics and supply chain topics. Research and Publication: Conduct research in logistics, supply chain management, transportation economics, or related fields. Publish research findings in academic journals, present at conferences, and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in logistics practices and theories. Industry Collaboration: Establish partnerships and collaborations with industry professionals, logistics companies, and supply chain organizations to enhance learning opportunities for students. Invite guest speakers from the industry to share real-world insights and experiences with students. Student Mentoring and Support: Provide academic and career guidance to students pursuing careers in logistics and supply chain management. Mentor students in developing professional skills, such as problem-solving, decision-making, and communication, relevant to the logistics industry. Quality Assurance and Assessment: Design assessment methods, such as exams, quizzes, and project evaluations, to measure student learning outcomes and ensure academic standards are met. Participate in program reviews, accreditation processes, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of logistics education. Skills and Qualifications: Expertise in Logistics: In-depth knowledge of logistics principles, supply chain management, transportation modes, inventory control, and warehousing operations. Teaching Skills: Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts, facilitate discussions, and engage students in learning activities. Industry Experience: Practical experience in logistics operations or management roles within the industry is often preferred.
