Job description

Guest Luggage Handling: Greet arriving guests and assist them with unloading their luggage from vehicles upon arrival. Transport luggage to guest rooms or designated storage areas using luggage carts or trolleys. Bell Services: Provide bell services to guests, including escorting them to their rooms, delivering luggage, and providing assistance with luggage storage, retrieval, and transportation during their stay. Valet Parking: Assist guests with parking their vehicles, retrieving parked vehicles upon request, and coordinating valet parking services in compliance with resort policies and procedures. Delivery and Pickup: Receive incoming deliveries of supplies, equipment, and packages, and ensure they are properly unloaded, inspected, and distributed to the appropriate departments or storage areas. Assist with loading and unloading vehicles for guest check-in and check-out. Equipment Handling: Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment, such as beach chairs, umbrellas, sports gear, and event materials, for resort activities, recreational facilities, and special events. Safety and Security: Follow safety protocols and guidelines for proper lifting techniques, equipment operation, and vehicle loading to prevent accidents and injuries. Ensure that all loading and unloading activities comply with safety regulations and resort policies. Traffic Control: Manage vehicle traffic flow and parking arrangements in designated loading and unloading areas to maintain order and ensure guest safety. Direct vehicles to appropriate parking spaces and loading zones as needed. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing deliveries, including quantities, descriptions, and delivery dates. Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and storage organization in designated storage areas. Communication: Communicate effectively with resort staff, including front desk personnel, housekeeping, maintenance, and security, to coordinate loading and unloading activities and address guest requests or concerns promptly. Customer Service: Provide friendly and courteous customer service to guests and visitors, offering assistance, answering questions, and addressing concerns related to loading, unloading, and transportation services. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other resort staff members to ensure seamless coordination and teamwork in providing exemplary guest experiences. Support colleagues in other departments as needed during peak periods or special events. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on loading and unloading equipment, such as luggage carts, trolleys, and vehicle lifts, to ensure they are in good working condition. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
