Job description

Installation: Lift technicians install new elevator systems or modernize existing ones according to manufacturer specifications, building codes, and safety standards. This involves assembling elevator components, wiring electrical systems, and performing system testing and commissioning. Maintenance and Inspection: Lift technicians perform routine maintenance and inspections on elevators and escalators to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently. This includes lubricating moving parts, adjusting controls, and replacing worn or defective components to prevent breakdowns and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Troubleshooting and Repair: Lift technicians diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or operational problems with elevators and escalators. They use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues, repair or replace faulty components, and restore equipment to proper working order. Safety Compliance: Lift technicians adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of passengers and maintenance personnel. They inspect safety features such as emergency brakes, door interlocks, and overload sensors, and make adjustments or repairs as needed to maintain compliance with safety standards.
