Job description

Installation: Installing vehicle lifts according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards. This includes assembling lift components, positioning the lift within the facility, and ensuring proper alignment and anchoring to the floor. Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance on vehicle lifts to ensure proper functioning and safety. This includes inspecting lift components, lubricating moving parts, adjusting hydraulic systems, and replacing worn or damaged parts as needed. Repair: Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues with vehicle lifts. This may involve troubleshooting lift malfunctions, replacing faulty components, and calibrating lift systems to restore functionality. Safety Inspections: Conducting safety inspections of vehicle lifts to identify potential hazards or compliance issues. Checking for structural integrity, safety features, and alignment to ensure lifts meet safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines. Emergency Service: Responding to emergency service calls to address lift malfunctions or breakdowns. Prioritizing safety and efficiency, troubleshooting issues, and implementing temporary solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions to automotive operations. Training and Education: Staying updated on industry standards, best practices, and technological advancements related to vehicle lifts. Participating in training programs and continuing education to enhance knowledge and skills in lift installation, maintenance, and repair techniques. Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of lift installations, maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Documenting findings, recommendations, and corrective actions taken to ensure accountability and compliance with regulatory requirements. Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service to automotive repair shop owners, service technicians, and facility managers. Communicating effectively, addressing customer inquiries or concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction with lift services. Quality Control: Ensuring that vehicle lifts meet quality standards and performance specifications. Conducting quality checks, performance testing, and operational checks to verify lift functionality and safety before and after installation or repair. Collaboration: Collaborating with other maintenance personnel, equipment suppliers, and automotive professionals to coordinate lift installations, maintenance schedules, and repair activities. Communicating effectively and working together to optimize lift performance and minimize downtime. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines for vehicle lifts.
