A Laser Operator is responsible for operating laser cutting machinery and other laser-based equipment to produce components and products to specification. This role involves setting up, programming and maintaining laser cutting machinery, as well as monitoring and adjusting the machinery to ensure a high-quality product is produced. The Laser Operator must be able to interpret engineering drawings and technical information in order to produce the required components. They must also be able to identify and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the production process. The successful candidate should have a strong technical knowledge, excellent attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
