Job description

Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Perform diagnostic tests to identify hardware and software issues affecting laptops. Troubleshoot problems related to hardware components (e.g., motherboard, CPU, RAM, hard drive) and peripherals (e.g., keyboard, touchpad, screen). Hardware Repair and Replacement: Disassemble and reassemble laptops to replace defective or damaged components, such as screens, batteries, keyboards, and power adapters. Upgrade hardware components (e.g., RAM, hard drive) based on customer requirements or to improve laptop performance. Software Installation and Configuration: Install and configure operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS, Linux) and software applications on laptops. Ensure compatibility of software with hardware specifications and provide support for installation and troubleshooting. Data Recovery and Backup: Retrieve data from laptops with failed storage devices (e.g., hard drives, SSDs) using data recovery tools and techniques. Assist customers in backing up important data before performing repairs or system upgrades. Virus and Malware Removal: Scan laptops for viruses, malware, and other security threats using antivirus software and specialized tools. Remove malicious software and apply security patches to protect laptops from future infections. Customer Service and Support: Communicate with customers to understand laptop issues, provide repair estimates, and explain repair options. Offer technical advice and recommendations to customers regarding laptop maintenance, upgrades, and security best practices. Quality Assurance and Testing: Conduct thorough testing and quality checks on repaired laptops to ensure functionality and performance. Provide warranty services and follow-up support to address any recurring issues or concerns.
