Job description

Construction and Demolition: Laborers work on construction sites performing tasks such as digging trenches, laying foundations, pouring concrete, operating machinery (e.g., forklifts, bulldozers), and assisting skilled tradespeople (e.g., carpenters, plumbers, electricians). Loading and Unloading: In warehouse and logistics settings, laborers load and unload trucks, containers, and shipments. They move materials, equipment, and products using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other lifting devices. Landscaping and Groundskeeping: Laborers maintain outdoor spaces by mowing lawns, trimming trees and shrubs, planting flowers and vegetation, and spreading mulch or fertilizer. They may operate landscaping equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers. Maintenance and Repair: Laborers assist with maintenance tasks in buildings, facilities, and infrastructure. This may include painting, cleaning, repairing fixtures, replacing bulbs, and performing minor plumbing or electrical work under supervision. General Labor Tasks: They perform a variety of manual labor tasks as directed by supervisors or team leaders. This can include sweeping, cleaning work areas, removing debris, assembling or dismantling equipment, and handling basic hand tools.
