Sample Collection and Preparation: Lab Technicians collect, handle, and prepare samples for analysis or experimentation. They follow protocols and procedures to ensure samples are properly labeled, stored, and prepared for testing. Performing Tests and Experiments: Lab Technicians conduct a wide range of tests, experiments, and procedures as instructed by researchers, scientists, or medical professionals. They operate laboratory equipment and instruments to perform quantitative and qualitative analyses. Data Recording and Analysis: Lab Technicians record and document experimental data, test results, and observations accurately and comprehensively. They may use computer software or data management systems to organize and analyze data. Maintaining Laboratory Equipment: Lab Technicians clean, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments to ensure proper functioning and accuracy of test results. They may troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance tasks. Quality Control and Assurance: Lab Technicians adhere to quality control protocols and standards to ensure accuracy, reliability, and validity of test results. They follow safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment and minimize risks. Inventory Management: Lab Technicians monitor and manage laboratory supplies, chemicals, and reagents.
