Dishwashing and Cleaning: Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment by hand or using commercial dishwashers. Ensure that all items are cleaned thoroughly and sanitized according to food safety standards. Clean kitchen surfaces, countertops, and equipment to maintain a hygienic and orderly kitchen environment. Kitchen Maintenance: Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment and appliances by cleaning, sanitizing, and performing basic maintenance tasks as needed. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to supervisors for timely repair or replacement. Stocking and Inventory Control: Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing food supplies, ingredients, and kitchen inventory. Monitor inventory levels and inform supervisors when supplies need to be replenished. Rotate stock and label items with expiration dates to ensure freshness and minimize waste. Trash and Recycling Management: Empty trash bins, garbage cans, and recycling containers regularly to remove waste and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
