Job description

Project Planning: Work with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, requirements, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules outlining tasks, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocations. Team Management: Build and lead project teams comprising developers, designers, testers, and other IT professionals. Assign roles and responsibilities, provide direction and guidance, and foster collaboration and communication among team members. Resource Allocation: Allocate resources, including human resources, budget, and equipment, to support project activities and achieve project goals. Optimize resource utilization and manage resource conflicts to ensure project efficiency and effectiveness. Risk Management: Identify potential risks, issues, and challenges that may impact project success. Develop risk mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and risk response plans to minimize the impact of risks on project outcomes. Budget Management: Develop project budgets, track project expenses, and manage project costs to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints. Monitor financial performance, identify variances, and take corrective actions as needed to stay within budget. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders, including clients, sponsors, team members, and senior management. Provide project updates, status reports, and progress metrics to stakeholders to keep them informed and engaged. Quality Assurance: Establish quality standards, metrics, and processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT solutions. Implement quality assurance practices, conduct reviews, and perform testing to validate deliverables and meet quality objectives. Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, requirements, and deliverables in a controlled manner. Assess the impact of changes, evaluate alternatives, and obtain approvals from stakeholders before implementing changes to the project plan. Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors, suppliers, and contractors involved in project delivery. Evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards. Issue Resolution: Identify and address issues, conflicts, and bottlenecks that arise during project execution. Facilitate problem-solving sessions, escalate issues as needed, and implement corrective actions to keep the project on track. Project Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, schedules, status reports, meeting minutes, and documentation of decisions and agreements. Ensure documentation is accessible and organized for reference and audit purposes. Post-Implementation Review: Conduct post-project reviews and evaluations to assess project outcomes, identify lessons learned, and capture best practices. Document findings, recommendations, and areas for improvement to inform future project initiatives.
