Job description

Installation: Installing power inverters according to manufacturer specifications and electrical codes. This involves mounting the inverters, connecting wiring, and integrating them into existing electrical systems. Testing and Commissioning: Testing newly installed inverters to ensure proper functionality and performance. Inverter Technicians conduct commissioning tests, verify electrical connections, and calibrate settings to optimize inverter operation. Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance tasks on inverters to prevent malfunctions and prolong equipment lifespan. This includes cleaning components, inspecting for wear or damage, and conducting preventive maintenance checks. Troubleshooting: Diagnosing technical issues and malfunctions in inverters using diagnostic tools and equipment. Inverter Technicians analyze symptoms, identify root causes of problems, and implement corrective actions to restore functionality. Repairs: Repairing faulty or damaged inverters by replacing defective components, repairing wiring or connections, and reprogramming settings as necessary. Inverter Technicians use soldering equipment, hand tools, and testing instruments to perform repairs safely and effectively. Upgrades and Modifications: Upgrading or modifying inverters to enhance performance, increase capacity, or integrate with new equipment or systems. Inverter Technicians install upgrades, retrofit components, and modify settings to meet customer requirements. Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety regulations, guidelines, and best practices for working with electrical systems and power equipment. Inverter Technicians implement safety measures to prevent electrical hazards, accidents, and injuries during installation, maintenance, and repairs. Documentation and Reporting: Documenting work activities, equipment specifications, and service records for inverters. Inverter Technicians maintain accurate records, logs, and reports to track maintenance tasks, repairs, and equipment history.
