Job description

Installation: Install new power inverters in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. This includes mounting the inverter, connecting cables, and ensuring proper grounding and ventilation. Commissioning: Configure and set up the inverter according to manufacturer specifications and customer requirements. Program settings such as voltage, frequency, and grid synchronization as needed. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with power inverters, such as output voltage fluctuations, communication errors, and fault alarms. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify root causes and implement solutions. Repair and Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep power inverters in good working condition. This includes cleaning air filters, inspecting connections, and updating firmware or software as needed. Testing and Calibration: Conduct tests and calibration procedures to ensure the functionality and efficiency of power inverters. Use meters, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment to measure output parameters and verify performance. Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to equipment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and adhere to safety regulations and guidelines. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, parts used, and maintenance performed. Complete service reports, work orders, and documentation in compliance with organizational policies and procedures. Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner. Communicate effectively to understand their power needs, explain repair procedures, and provide cost estimates. Continuing Education: Stay updated on advances in power inverter technology, industry trends, and best practices. Pursue training opportunities, certifications, and licensure to enhance your skills and knowledge. Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. Share knowledge and resources to ensure successful outcomes.
