Construction Tasks: Performing various construction tasks as directed by the interior site supervisor or foreman. This may include demolition, framing, drywall installation, painting, flooring installation, and other finishing work. Material Handling: Assisting with the handling, transportation, and storage of construction materials and equipment. Interior site workers may be responsible for loading and unloading materials, distributing them to the appropriate locations on-site, and ensuring that they are stored safely and securely. Installation and Assembly: Installing and assembling interior fixtures, fittings, and finishes according to the design plans and specifications. This may involve installing cabinetry, countertops, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, and other interior elements. Finishing Work: Performing finishing work to ensure that interior surfaces are smooth, level, and properly finished. This may include sanding, caulking, painting, and applying finishes to walls, ceilings, and trim. Cleanup and Waste Management: Assisting with site cleanup and waste management to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Interior site workers may be responsible for removing debris, sweeping and vacuuming floors, and disposing of waste materials properly. Assistance to Trades: Providing assistance to other tradespeople working on-site, such as electricians, plumbers, and HVAC technicians. This may involve helping with the installation of utilities, routing wiring and piping, and coordinating work activities to ensure smooth progress. Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety protocols and regulations to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries on-site.
