Demolition and Preparation: Interior site workers may be involved in the demolition and removal of existing structures, fixtures, and finishes to prepare the site for construction. This may include removing walls, flooring, ceilings, and other interior elements. Material Handling and Transport: They assist in the handling, transportation, and storage of construction materials, fixtures, and equipment on-site. Interior site workers may unload delivery trucks, move materials to designated storage areas, and distribute materials to work areas as needed. Site Cleanup and Organization: Interior site workers are responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment on-site. They remove debris, trash, and construction waste, sweep and clean work areas, and organize tools and equipment to ensure efficient workflow. Assisting Skilled Trades: Interior site workers support skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and HVAC technicians by providing assistance, fetching tools and materials, and performing tasks as directed. They may assist in installing framing, electrical wiring, plumbing fixtures, and HVAC ductwork. Installation and Assembly: They participate in the installation and assembly of interior finishes, fixtures, and furnishings according to design plans and specifications. This may include installing drywall, flooring, cabinetry, countertops, lighting fixtures, and hardware. Painting and Finishing: Interior site workers may assist in painting walls, ceilings, trim, and other surfaces using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
