Project Coordination: Acting as the main point of contact between the interior design team, contractors, suppliers, and clients. Coordinating activities to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery. Site Management: Managing day-to-day operations at the construction site, including overseeing subcontractors, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and site protocols. Quality Assurance: Conducting regular inspections to ensure that workmanship meets quality standards and specifications. Addressing any issues or defects promptly and working with the team to implement corrective measures. Progress Reporting: Providing regular updates on project progress to stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and interior designers. Communicating any deviations from the original plan and proposing solutions to mitigate risks or delays. Material and Resource Management: Monitoring material inventory and ensuring that necessary materials and resources are available on-site as per project requirements. Managing material procurement, storage, and utilization efficiently. Cost Management: Monitoring project expenses and ensuring that work is completed within budget constraints. Identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing resource utilization where possible. Team Supervision: Supervising and providing guidance to site workers, subcontractors, and laborers. Ensuring that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and according to established protocols. Problem Solving: Resolving issues and conflicts that arise during the construction process, such as design discrepancies, material shortages, or scheduling conflicts. Collaborating with stakeholders to find practical solutions and keep the project on track. Client Communication: Maintaining open and transparent communication with clients, addressing their concerns, and providing updates on project milestones, schedules, and progress. Ensuring that client expectations are managed effectively throughout the project lifecycle. Documentation: Keeping accurate records of project activities, including site reports, daily logs, change orders, and approvals. Maintaining documentation in an organized manner for future reference and audit purposes. Safety and Compliance: Ensuring that all work activities comply with health and safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards. Implementing safety measures and protocols to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries on the construction site. Post-Construction Support: Providing support during the handover phase, ensuring that the client is satisfied with the completed project and addressing any post-construction issues or warranty claims promptly.
