Job description

Site Management: Overseeing day-to-day construction activities on-site to ensure that interior design projects are completed according to specifications, quality standards, and timelines. Team Leadership: Leading and supervising construction crews, subcontractors, and tradespeople to ensure that work is performed efficiently, safely, and to the required quality standards. Work Coordination: Coordinating with project managers, interior designers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure that construction activities are sequenced and executed according to project plans and schedules. Resource Management: Managing resources, including labor, materials, equipment, and budgetary funds, to support construction activities and meet project objectives within budgetary constraints. Quality Control: Implementing quality control measures and conducting inspections to verify that workmanship, materials, and construction methods meet project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Safety Management: Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices to maintain a safe work environment for construction personnel and mitigate risks of accidents or injuries. Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving construction-related issues, conflicts, and challenges that arise during the course of the project. Making decisions and implementing solutions in a timely manner to keep the project on track. Communication: Communicating effectively with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to provide updates, convey expectations, address concerns, and facilitate collaboration and teamwork. Documentation: Maintaining accurate and organized records of construction activities, including daily logs, progress reports, inspection reports, and change orders, to track project progress and ensure accountability. Client Relations: Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients by providing excellent service, addressing client inquiries and requests, and ensuring that project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations. Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost savings in construction operations. Implementing best practices and lessons learned from previous projects to enhance project delivery and performance.
