Job description

Construction Oversight: Supervising and coordinating construction activities on-site to ensure that work progresses according to the approved interior design plans, specifications, and schedules. Team Management: Leading and directing construction crews, subcontractors, and laborers to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and meet quality standards. This includes assigning work, providing guidance, and monitoring performance. Quality Assurance: Implementing quality control measures to ensure that construction work meets the standards set by the interior designer or design firm. This involves conducting inspections, addressing non-conformities, and maintaining records of quality checks. Health and Safety Compliance: Enforcing safety protocols and regulations to create a safe working environment for construction personnel. This includes conducting safety meetings, identifying hazards, and addressing safety concerns promptly. Material and Equipment Management: Managing the procurement, delivery, and use of construction materials, tools, and equipment needed for the interior design project. This includes coordinating with suppliers, ensuring proper storage of materials, and maintaining inventory records. Progress Monitoring: Monitoring construction progress against established schedules and milestones. Interior Site Supervisors track work completed, identify potential delays or bottlenecks, and take corrective actions to keep projects on track. Communication and Coordination: Serving as a liaison between the interior design team, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
