Job description

Project Coordination: Collaborating with the project manager, interior designer, subcontractors, and suppliers to coordinate all aspects of the interior design project. Ensuring that everyone involved understands their roles and responsibilities. Site Management: Managing day-to-day activities on the construction site, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task assignment. Overseeing the work of subcontractors, tradespeople, and laborers to ensure that they follow project plans and meet quality standards. Quality Control: Conducting regular inspections of workmanship, materials, and installations to ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and industry standards. Addressing any quality issues or deficiencies promptly and effectively. Safety Compliance: Enforcing safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all workers and subcontractors. Conducting safety inspections, identifying hazards, and implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks. Progress Monitoring: Monitoring the progress of construction activities and milestones to ensure that the project stays on schedule. Identifying potential delays or bottlenecks and implementing strategies to keep the project on track. Material Management: Managing the procurement, delivery, and storage of materials and supplies needed for the interior design project. Ensuring that materials are delivered on time and in accordance with project specifications. Client Communication: Serving as the primary point of contact for the client regarding on-site activities, progress updates, and any issues or concerns that may arise. Providing excellent customer service and addressing client inquiries and feedback promptly. Change Management: Managing changes to project scope, schedule, and budget through formal change control processes. Assessing the impact of changes on project objectives and coordinating with the project manager and interior designer to implement adjustments as needed. Documentation Management: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of on-site activities, including daily progress reports, work logs, and photos. Organizing and filing documents for future reference and audit purposes. Conflict Resolution: Resolving conflicts and disputes that may arise among workers, subcontractors, or stakeholders on the construction site. Mediating disagreements, facilitating communication, and finding mutually acceptable solutions to maintain productivity and harmony. Cost Control: Monitoring project costs and expenditures to ensure that construction activities stay within budgetary constraints. Tracking expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing measures to control costs without compromising quality or safety. Team Leadership: Providing leadership, guidance, and support to the on-site construction team to ensure that they perform their duties effectively and efficiently. Motivating team members, resolving issues, and fostering a positive work environment. Site Cleanliness and Organization: Ensuring that the construction site is kept clean, organized, and free of debris or hazards. Implementing waste management practices and maintaining cleanliness standards to promote a safe and productive work environment. Client Handover: Coordinating the final handover of the completed project to the client. Conducting final inspections, addressing any outstanding issues or punch list items, and ensuring that the client is satisfied with the finished product. Post-Project Evaluation: Conducting post-project evaluations and lessons learned sessions to assess project performance, identify areas for improvement, and capture best practices for future projects. Documenting project outcomes, successes, and challenges for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
