Job description

Site Management: Managing day-to-day operations on the construction site, including coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure that work progresses according to schedule and quality standards. Construction Oversight: Supervising the construction and installation of interior elements, such as walls, flooring, ceilings, cabinetry, fixtures, and furnishings. This involves ensuring that work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with design plans and specifications. Quality Control: Implementing quality control measures to ensure that construction work meets the required standards and specifications. This includes conducting inspections, reviewing workmanship, and addressing any deficiencies or deviations from the plans. Material Management: Managing the procurement, delivery, and installation of construction materials, finishes, and furnishings. This involves coordinating with suppliers, tracking material deliveries, and ensuring that materials are used efficiently and according to project requirements. Coordination with Design Team: Collaborating with interior designers, architects, engineers, and other design professionals to interpret design plans, resolve design-related issues, and ensure that design intent is realized during construction. Schedule Management: Monitoring project schedules and timelines to ensure that construction activities are completed on time and within budgetary constraints. This involves coordinating with subcontractors, managing workflow, and addressing delays or disruptions as they arise. Client Communication: Serving as the primary point of contact for clients on-site, providing updates, addressing concerns, and soliciting feedback throughout the construction process. This involves maintaining open and effective communication to ensure client satisfaction with the final result. Safety Compliance: Enforcing safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel on the construction site. This includes conducting safety meetings, inspecting work areas for hazards, and addressing safety concerns promptly. Documentation: Maintaining accurate records and documentation of construction activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and as-built drawings. This information is essential for tracking project progress, documenting changes, and resolving disputes. Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving construction-related issues and challenges that arise during the course of the project. This may include coordinating with subcontractors, troubleshooting technical issues, and adapting to changes in project plans.
