Job description

Project Planning and Coordination: Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with project managers, interior designers, and clients. Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Site Management and Organization: Manage and organize the interior site to optimize workflow, productivity, and resource utilization. Coordinate the placement of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), as well as the installation of interior finishes such as flooring, wall treatments, and cabinetry. Work Crew Supervision: Direct and supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and tradespeople involved in interior construction and installation activities. Assign tasks, provide instructions, and ensure that work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to design specifications. Quality Control and Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure that interior construction work meets established standards, specifications, and design requirements. Conduct inspections, tests, and evaluations to verify compliance with project plans and industry best practices. Safety Management: Enforce safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for construction personnel and occupants. Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions to promote awareness of safety hazards and best practices. Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor construction progress, productivity, and performance against established schedules and milestones. Provide regular progress reports to project management, highlighting accomplishments, challenges, and deviations from plans. Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution: Address interior construction-related issues, challenges, and conflicts in a timely and effective manner. Identify root causes, propose solutions, and implement corrective actions to minimize delays and disruptions. Client Relations and Satisfaction: Interface with clients, interior designers, and consultants to address concerns, answer questions, and provide updates on construction progress. Strive to exceed client expectations by delivering high-quality workmanship and ensuring client satisfaction. Cost Control and Budget Management: Monitor interior construction costs, expenditures, and resource utilization to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints. Identify cost-saving opportunities, implement cost control measures, and report variances to project management. Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date construction records, including daily reports, inspection logs, material receipts, and work progress records. Ensure that all documentation complies with project requirements and regulatory standards. Material Procurement and Inventory Management: Coordinate the procurement of interior construction materials, FF&E, and finishes. Manage material deliveries, inventory levels, and storage to ensure availability and timely installation. Environmental Compliance: Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permit requirements during interior construction activities. Implement measures to minimize environmental impacts, such as waste management and recycling initiatives.
