Job description

Site Coordination: Collaborating with the project manager, interior designer, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Facilitating communication and coordination among team members to resolve issues and address challenges promptly. Construction Management: Supervising construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with design drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Monitoring progress, scheduling, and sequencing of work to meet project timelines and milestones. Quality Control: Conducting regular inspections of workmanship, materials, and installations to ensure quality and adherence to design standards. Identifying defects, deficiencies, or deviations from the design and coordinating corrective action with contractors. Material and Equipment Management: Managing the delivery, storage, and installation of materials, fixtures, furniture, and equipment on-site. Coordinating with suppliers, vendors, and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery and proper handling of goods. Safety Compliance: Enforcing health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all workers and personnel on the construction site. Conducting safety inspections, addressing hazards, and promoting safe work practices. Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of construction activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and inspection reports. Documenting work completed, issues encountered, and resolutions implemented for project documentation and client updates. Client Communication: Providing regular updates and progress reports to clients, interior designers, and project managers. Addressing client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally to ensure client satisfaction. Change Management: Managing changes to the project scope, schedule, or specifications as they arise during construction. Assessing the impact of changes, obtaining approvals as necessary, and communicating changes to the project team and stakeholders. Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Identifying challenges and obstacles that may arise during construction and proactively addressing them to keep the project on track. Making informed decisions and finding practical solutions to resolve issues and mitigate risks. Team Leadership: Providing leadership and guidance to construction workers, subcontractors, and laborers on-site. Motivating and inspiring team members to perform their best and achieve project goals effectively and efficiently.
