Job description

Site Management: You manage all on-site activities related to the interior design project, ensuring that work is executed according to design plans, specifications, and quality standards. Supervision of Work Crews: You oversee and direct work crews, subcontractors, and laborers on-site to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and according to schedule. You assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and provide guidance to workers as needed. Quality Control: You implement quality control measures to ensure that workmanship meets design standards and specifications. This may involve conducting inspections, reviewing work in progress, and addressing any quality issues or deficiencies promptly. Materials Management: You coordinate the procurement, delivery, and storage of materials and equipment on-site. You ensure that materials are ordered in a timely manner, properly stored, and used efficiently to minimize waste and prevent shortages. Safety Compliance: You enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on-site. This includes conducting safety briefings, inspections, and training sessions, as well as addressing safety concerns or hazards promptly. Communication: You maintain open and effective communication with project managers, designers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that project objectives are understood and met. You provide regular updates, progress reports, and feedback to keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the project. Problem-Solving: You identify and address construction issues, challenges, and conflicts as they arise on-site. You propose solutions, make decisions, and take appropriate action to resolve problems and keep the project moving forward. Coordination with Design Team: You collaborate with interior designers, architects, and engineers to ensure that design intent is translated accurately into construction. You communicate design specifications, resolve design-related issues, and provide input on construction feasibility and implementation. Schedule Management: You manage project schedules and timelines to ensure that work is completed on time and according to plan. You coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to optimize workflow and minimize delays. Documentation and Reporting: You maintain accurate documentation and records of on-site activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and incident reports. You may also prepare reports, documentation, and paperwork for regulatory compliance and client review.
