Job description

Project Coordination: Coordinate with interior designers, architects, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of interior design plans. Communicate project requirements, timelines, and expectations to all stakeholders involved. Site Management: Manage day-to-day activities at construction sites, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task assignment. Supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and laborers to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with design and quality standards. Quality Control: Monitor the quality of workmanship and materials used in interior construction and finishing activities. Conduct regular inspections and walkthroughs to identify defects, discrepancies, or deviations from design specifications. Implement corrective actions and quality assurance measures to maintain project quality. Progress Tracking: Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables against the project schedule and budget. Monitor work progress, productivity levels, and resource utilization to identify potential delays or bottlenecks. Implement strategies to optimize workflow and minimize schedule disruptions. Material Management: Manage procurement, delivery, and inventory of materials, finishes, fixtures, and furnishings required for interior construction and installation. Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery and availability of materials at the construction site. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, regulations, and best practices to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on site. Conduct safety inspections, hazard assessments, and toolbox talks to promote awareness and adherence to safety standards. Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, addressing concerns, and soliciting feedback throughout the construction process. Communicate project milestones, progress reports, and change orders to ensure alignment with client expectations and objectives. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve construction-related issues, conflicts, or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle. Collaborate with project team members to develop creative solutions, overcome obstacles, and mitigate risks to project success. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports related to project activities, including daily logs, work orders, change requests, and inspection reports. Document project milestones, achievements, and lessons learned for future reference and continuous improvement. Budget Management: Monitor project expenditures, track costs, and control expenses within the approved project budget. Review invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests for accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements and budgetary constraints. Client Satisfaction: Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality workmanship, adhering to project timelines, and addressing client needs and preferences. Seek feedback from clients and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and opportunities to enhance the overall project experience. Team Leadership: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to construction teams, subcontractors, and support staff. Foster a positive work environment, encourage teamwork and collaboration, and recognize and reward outstanding performance.
