Job description

Site Management: Supervising day-to-day construction and installation activities on the project site to ensure that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and according to design specifications, schedules, and budgets. Team Leadership: Leading and managing construction crews, subcontractors, and laborers involved in interior construction, renovation, and installation work. This involves assigning tasks, providing guidance and support, and fostering teamwork and collaboration among team members. Quality Control: Monitoring the quality of workmanship and materials used in interior construction and installation to ensure that they meet design specifications, standards, and industry best practices. Conducting quality inspections, reviewing work progress, and addressing any deficiencies or deviations from the approved plans. Safety Compliance: Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices to prevent accidents, injuries, and occupational hazards on the construction site. Implementing safety protocols, conducting safety inspections, and providing safety training to workers to maintain a safe working environment. Material Procurement and Coordination: Coordinating the procurement, delivery, and installation of materials, fixtures, and furnishings required for interior construction and finishing work. Ensuring that materials are sourced, ordered, and delivered on time and that installation is carried out according to specifications. Client Communication: Serving as a liaison between project stakeholders, including interior designers, contractors, suppliers, and clients. Communicating project requirements, progress updates, and timelines to clients and addressing any concerns or inquiries they may have. Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of construction activities, including daily reports, progress logs, inspection reports, and change orders. Generating reports and documentation to track project performance, costs, and compliance with contractual requirements. Problem-solving: Identifying and resolving construction-related issues, challenges, and obstacles that arise during the course of the project. Implementing solutions and strategies to overcome problems and minimize disruptions to construction progress. Coordination with Design Team: Collaborating with interior designers, architects, engineers, and other design professionals to ensure that construction and installation activities are coordinated with design plans and specifications. Addressing design-related issues and modifications as needed during the construction process. Handover and Closeout: Managing the handover and closeout process at the completion of the project, including final inspections, punch lists, and documentation. Ensuring that all work is completed to the satisfaction of the client and that any outstanding issues are resolved before project closure.
