Job description

Project Coordination: Coordinate with project managers, interior designers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of interior design projects. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements, timelines, and budgets. Site Management: Manage day-to-day operations on site, including scheduling, logistics, and coordination of construction activities. Supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure that work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications. Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance measures to maintain high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship on site. Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to verify compliance with design plans, specifications, and industry standards. Safety Management: Prioritize safety on site and enforce adherence to safety protocols, regulations, and best practices. Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and training sessions to promote a safe work environment and prevent accidents or injuries. Material Management: Manage the procurement, delivery, and storage of materials, equipment, and supplies needed for interior design projects. Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery and availability of materials on site. Construction Progress Tracking: Monitor construction progress and milestones to ensure that projects stay on schedule and within budget. Track work progress, productivity, and resource utilization to identify potential delays or issues and take proactive measures to address them. Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for communication between project stakeholders, including clients, designers, contractors, and subcontractors. Keep stakeholders informed of project progress, updates, and any issues or concerns that arise during construction. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve construction-related issues, challenges, and conflicts that arise on site. Troubleshoot problems, propose solutions, and implement corrective actions to keep projects moving forward and minimize disruptions. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to project activities, including daily reports, progress photos, change orders, and as-built drawings. Keep detailed records of work performed, materials used, and any deviations from original plans. Client Interaction: Interact with clients on site to address questions, concerns, and feedback related to construction activities. Provide updates on project progress, address client requests, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the construction process. Budget Management: Monitor project expenses, track costs, and manage budgets for interior design projects. Identify cost-saving opportunities, control expenditures, and report budget variances to project managers and stakeholders as needed. Closeout and Handover: Coordinate the closeout and handover of completed interior design projects to clients or facility owners. Ensure that all punch list items are addressed, final inspections are conducted, and necessary documentation is provided before project acceptance.
