Client Consultation: You begin by meeting with clients to discuss their requirements, preferences, and budget for the project. Understanding their lifestyle, tastes, and vision is crucial for creating designs that align with their expectations. Space Planning and Layout: You analyze the available space and develop efficient floor plans and layouts that optimize the use of space and flow within the interior environment. This may involve considering factors such as traffic flow, furniture placement, and spatial organization. Concept Development and Design: Based on the client's brief and preferences, you develop design concepts that reflect their style, personality, and functional needs. This includes selecting color schemes, materials, furnishings, and decorative elements that enhance the overall aesthetic appeal of the space. Furniture and Fixture Selection: You curate a selection of furniture, fixtures, lighting, and accessories that complement the design concept and meet the functional requirements of the space. This involves sourcing products, specifying finishes, and coordinating with suppliers and vendors. Material and Finish Specification: You specify materials, finishes, and textures for various surfaces within the interior space, including flooring, walls, ceilings, and countertops. This includes selecting durable, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing materials that enhance the design concept. Visualization and Presentation: You create visual representations of your design concepts using computer-aided design (CAD) software, sketches, mood boards, and 3D renderings. These presentations help clients visualize the proposed design and make informed decisions.
