Job description

Recruitment and Staffing: Overseeing the recruitment process for hiring new employees across various departments within the resort, including creating job descriptions, advertising job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the selection and hiring process. Onboarding and Orientation: Developing and implementing onboarding programs to welcome and integrate new hires into the resort's culture, policies, and procedures, and providing orientation sessions to familiarize them with their roles, responsibilities, and workplace expectations. Training and Development: Identifying training needs and opportunities for employee development, designing and delivering training programs, workshops, and seminars to enhance employees' skills, knowledge, and performance, and promoting continuous learning and professional growth. Performance Management: Implementing performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, feedback sessions, and performance improvement plans, to assess and enhance employee performance, productivity, and engagement. Employee Relations: Managing employee relations issues and conflicts, providing guidance and support to employees and managers in resolving workplace conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary matters, and promoting a positive and respectful work environment. Compensation and Benefits: Developing and administering competitive compensation and benefits packages for resort employees, including salary structures, incentives, bonuses, and employee perks, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Policy Development and Compliance: Developing, implementing, and enforcing HR policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and industry standards, and promoting fairness, equity, and consistency in HR practices. Employee Engagement and Retention: Implementing initiatives and programs to foster employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention, such as employee recognition programs, team-building activities, and wellness initiatives, and conducting exit interviews to gather feedback from departing employees. Diversity and Inclusion: Promoting diversity and inclusion initiatives within the resort workforce, including recruitment efforts, training programs, and awareness campaigns, to create a diverse and inclusive workplace culture that values and respects all employees. HR Administration: Managing HR administration tasks, such as maintaining employee records and databases, processing payroll, administering benefits programs, and ensuring compliance with HR-related documentation and reporting requirements.
