Recruitment and Selection: Leading the recruitment and selection process to attract and hire qualified candidates for open positions within the organization. This includes creating job descriptions, posting job advertisements, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process. Onboarding and Orientation: Developing and implementing onboarding programs to welcome and integrate new employees into the organization. HR managers ensure that new hires receive necessary training, information, and resources to acclimate to their roles and the company culture effectively. Employee Relations: Managing employee relations by addressing workplace issues, conflicts, and grievances in a fair and timely manner. HR managers serve as a point of contact for employees, providing guidance, mediation, and resolution of workplace disputes or concerns. Performance Management: Implementing performance management systems to set performance expectations, provide feedback, and evaluate employee performance. HR managers coordinate performance reviews, goal-setting processes, and performance improvement plans to support employee development and organizational effectiveness. Training and Development: Identifying training and development needs within the organization and designing programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and competencies. HR managers may coordinate training sessions, workshops, and professional development opportunities to support employee growth and career advancement. Compensation and Benefits: Administering compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitive and equitable pay and benefits for employees. HR managers oversee salary reviews, incentive programs, and employee benefits packages, as well as compliance with wage and hour laws and regulations. HR Policies and Procedures: Developing, implementing, and enforcing HR policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with legal requirements and promote a positive work environment. HR managers communicate policies to employees, provide guidance on policy interpretation, and address policy violations as needed. HR Compliance: Ensuring compliance with labor laws, regulations, and industry standards related to employment practices. HR managers stay updated on changes in employment laws and regulations, conduct audits to assess compliance, and implement corrective actions to address any areas of non-compliance. Employee Engagement: Promoting employee engagement and morale by implementing initiatives to foster a positive work culture, recognition programs, and employee engagement surveys.
