Job description

Recruitment and Onboarding: Coordinate the recruitment process by sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process. Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including orientation, paperwork, and training. Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances. Address employee relations issues, conflicts, and disciplinary matters in accordance with company policies and legal regulations. Performance Management: Assist in the development and implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback sessions. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees in performance improvement efforts. Training and Development: Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills, competencies, and performance. Identify training needs, select appropriate training methods, and evaluate training effectiveness. Compensation and Benefits Administration: Administer employee compensation and benefits programs, including payroll processing, salary reviews, bonus calculations, and benefits enrollment. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits. HR Policies and Procedures: Develop, update, and communicate HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks. Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices. Employee Engagement: Implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work culture, improve employee morale, and enhance retention. Organize employee events, recognition programs, and feedback mechanisms. HR Information Systems (HRIS): Maintain and update HRIS databases with employee information, payroll data, and other HR records. Generate reports and analyze HR metrics to support decision-making and strategic planning. Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and labor standards at the federal, state, and local levels. Stay informed about changes in employment legislation and update HR policies and practices accordingly. Conflict Resolution and Mediation: Mediate conflicts and disputes between employees or between employees and management. Facilitate open communication and collaborative problem-solving to resolve conflicts in a constructive manner. Communication Skills: Communicate effectively with employees, managers, and external stakeholders. Prepare written communications, policies, and presentations. Conduct meetings, training sessions, and employee briefings. Confidentiality and Integrity: Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive employee information, payroll data, and HR records. Uphold ethical standards and professional conduct in all HR activities. Project Management: Manage HR projects and initiatives from conception to completion. Develop project plans, set timelines, allocate resources, and track progress. Ensure timely delivery of project objectives and outcomes. Adaptability and Flexibility: Adapt to changing priorities, deadlines, and business needs in a dynamic work environment. Remain flexible and open to learning new skills and technologies. Teamwork and Collaboration: Collaborate with other HR team members, department managers, and cross-functional teams to achieve HR objectives and support organizational goals.
