Job description

Cleaning Rooms: Thoroughly cleaning and tidying guest rooms, common areas, and other designated areas according to established standards and procedures. This includes dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, making beds, and replenishing amenities. Changing Linens: Changing bed linens, towels, and other linens regularly, and ensuring they are clean, fresh, and properly arranged for guests' comfort. Bathroom Cleaning: Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and bathtubs, and restocking toiletries and amenities as needed. Trash Removal: Emptying trash bins and waste receptacles, and disposing of garbage and recycling materials in accordance with waste management protocols. Surface Disinfection: Disinfecting high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, remote controls, and countertops to prevent the spread of germs and ensure a hygienic environment. Inspecting Rooms: Inspecting rooms for cleanliness and maintenance issues, and reporting any damages, malfunctions, or deficiencies to supervisors for prompt resolution. Organizing and Restocking: Organizing supplies, equipment, and amenities in storage areas, and restocking items such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning supplies to ensure availability for guests. Laundry Duties: Sorting, washing, drying, folding, and ironing laundry items such as bed linens, towels, and guest clothing, following care instructions and using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment. Special Requests: Fulfilling special requests or preferences from guests, such as providing extra pillows or blankets, arranging room amenities, or accommodating specific cleaning schedules. Customer Service: Providing friendly and courteous service to guests, responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, and ensuring guest satisfaction with housekeeping services. Adhering to Safety Protocols: Following safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, or hazards in the workplace, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE). Teamwork and Collaboration: Working collaboratively with other housekeeping staff, as well as with front desk staff, maintenance personnel, and other departments, to ensure effective communication and coordination of tasks.
