Job description

Cleaning and Sanitizing: Performing routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Ensuring that all areas are kept clean and free from dirt, dust, and debris. Bed Making: Changing and making beds with fresh linens and ensuring that they are neatly made and presented according to established standards. Replacing towels and toiletries as needed to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests. Bathroom Cleaning: Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors. Restocking toiletries and amenities to ensure that guests have everything they need for a pleasant stay. Trash Removal: Emptying trash bins and disposing of waste properly. Segregating recyclable materials from non-recyclable ones and following proper waste management practices. Room Inspection: Conducting thorough inspections of guest rooms and public areas to identify any maintenance issues, damages, or cleanliness concerns. Reporting any issues to the housekeeping supervisor or maintenance team for prompt resolution. Linen Management: Sorting, laundering, and folding linens such as towels, sheets, and pillowcases. Ensuring that all linens are clean, well-maintained, and properly stored for future use. Inventory Control: Monitoring and replenishing housekeeping supplies such as cleaning products, toiletries, linens, and amenities. Keeping track of inventory levels and informing the housekeeping supervisor of any shortages or replenishment needs. Guest Interaction: Interacting with guests in a friendly and professional manner while respecting their privacy and confidentiality. Responding to guest requests and inquiries promptly and accommodating special requests whenever possible. Safety and Security: Following safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and hazards in the workplace. Maintaining awareness of emergency procedures and evacuation routes. Teamwork: Collaborating with other housekeeping staff members and departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction. Communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors to coordinate tasks and resolve issues. Attention to Detail: Paying close attention to detail in cleaning and organizing tasks to achieve high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
