Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform routine cleaning tasks to ensure that all areas of the facility are clean, sanitary, and presentable. This includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and wiping down surfaces in offices, customer waiting areas, restrooms, and other common areas. Trash Removal: Empty trash bins and recycling containers regularly throughout the facility and dispose of waste in designated areas. Ensure that trash receptacles are clean and properly lined with trash bags for hygienic disposal. Floor Care: Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors by vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and spot-cleaning spills or stains. Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment to ensure that floors are safe and free from debris. Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize restrooms regularly to ensure hygiene and comfort for employees, customers, and visitors. Restock restroom supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and hand sanitizer as needed. Surface Disinfection: Disinfect high-touch surfaces, such as door handles, handrails, countertops, and light switches, to reduce the risk of germs and pathogens spreading within the facility. Use disinfectants approved for automotive environments to maintain a clean and safe workspace. Window and Glass Cleaning: Clean windows, glass doors, and display cases to ensure clarity and visibility. Use appropriate cleaning solutions and techniques to remove dirt, fingerprints, and streaks from glass surfaces. Equipment Care: Maintain cleanliness and functionality of housekeeping equipment, such as vacuum cleaners, mops, and cleaning carts. Ensure that equipment is properly stored, cleaned, and serviced to prolong its lifespan and effectiveness. Supply Management: Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and consumable items used in housekeeping activities. Replenish supplies as needed and notify supervisors of any shortages or equipment malfunctions. Safety Awareness: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries while performing housekeeping tasks. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling cleaning chemicals or operating heavy equipment. Environmental Compliance: Adhere to environmental regulations and guidelines for waste disposal, recycling, and chemical handling. Dispose of hazardous materials and waste in accordance with local regulations and company policies to minimize environmental impact.
