Job description

Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing surfaces in all areas of the property, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, and common areas. Bed Making and Linen Changing: Make beds with fresh linens, replace towels, and restock amenities in bedrooms and bathrooms. Ensure that beds are neatly made, pillows are fluffed, and linens are clean and properly arranged. Bathroom Cleaning: Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, showers, bathtubs, and countertops using appropriate cleaning products and techniques. Restock toiletries, toilet paper, and other bathroom essentials as needed. Kitchen Cleaning: Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, countertops, appliances, and cabinets. Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and cookware. Empty trash bins, clean garbage disposals, and maintain cleanliness in food preparation areas. Floor Care: Vacuum carpets, rugs, and upholstery to remove dirt, debris, and stains. Sweep and mop hard floors, including tile, hardwood, laminate, and vinyl surfaces. Polish floors and apply floor sealants or wax as needed. Window and Glass Cleaning: Clean windows, mirrors, glass doors, and glass surfaces using appropriate cleaning solutions and techniques. Remove streaks, smudges, and fingerprints to achieve a sparkling finish. Dusting and Polishing: Dust furniture, fixtures, baseboards, and decorative items throughout the property. Use dusting tools, microfiber cloths, and polish to remove dust, dirt, and grime from surfaces and restore shine. Laundry Management: Collect, sort, and launder linens, towels, and clothing as required. Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently. Fold, iron, and organize clean laundry for storage or use. Organization and Decluttering: Organize and declutter living spaces, storage areas, and closets to maintain order and maximize usable space. Arrange furniture, accessories, and belongings neatly and aesthetically pleasingly. Trash Removal: Empty trash bins and waste receptacles regularly, dispose of garbage properly, and replace liners as needed. Segregate recyclable materials and follow local waste disposal regulations. Maintenance Reporting: Report any maintenance issues, damage, or safety concerns observed during housekeeping duties to the appropriate personnel or supervisor. Document and communicate issues promptly to ensure timely resolution. Customer Service: Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service to residents, guests, or clients. Respond to requests, inquiries, and feedback promptly and appropriately. Address any concerns or complaints with empathy and professionalism.
