Cleaning and Sanitizing: Performing cleaning tasks to ensure that all areas are clean, sanitized, and presentable. This includes dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces. Room Preparation: Preparing guest rooms, hospital rooms, or other spaces for occupancy by changing linens, making beds, replenishing amenities, and arranging furniture. Bathroom Maintenance: Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors. Restocking toiletries, towels, and other supplies as needed. Trash Removal: Collecting and disposing of trash and recyclables from designated areas, ensuring that waste receptacles are emptied regularly and disposed of properly. Floor Care: Cleaning and maintaining various types of flooring, such as carpet, tile, hardwood, and laminate. This may involve vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors as necessary. Laundry Services: Washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens, towels, and other textiles. Ensuring that laundry facilities and equipment are used properly and maintained in good working condition. Supply Management: Monitoring inventory levels of cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other housekeeping materials. Reordering supplies as needed and ensuring that storage areas are organized and well-stocked. Specialized Cleaning Tasks: Performing specialized cleaning tasks as required, such as window cleaning, upholstery cleaning, carpet shampooing, and high-dusting. Safety and Security: Following safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace. Reporting any safety hazards or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel for resolution. Attention to Detail: Paying attention to detail to ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed thoroughly and to a high standard of quality. Checking for cleanliness and tidiness in all areas, including hard-to-reach spots and hidden corners. Time Management: Managing time effectively to complete assigned tasks within established deadlines. Prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance to ensure efficient use of time and resources. Communication Skills: Communicating effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and clients to convey information, report issues, and coordinate work activities.
