Job description

Room Cleaning: Clean and tidy guest rooms and suites according to established standards and procedures, including making beds, changing linens, vacuuming carpets, dusting furniture, and replenishing amenities. Bathroom Cleaning: Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, tubs, and countertops, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are met for guest comfort and satisfaction. Surface Cleaning: Wipe down and clean all surfaces, including windowsills, mirrors, countertops, tables, and desks, using appropriate cleaning agents and tools to remove dirt, dust, and smudges. Floor Care: Vacuum carpets, rugs, and floor mats, and mop hard floors using suitable cleaning solutions and techniques to maintain cleanliness and prevent slips and falls. Linen Management: Collect, sort, and launder linens, towels, and other guest room textiles, following proper procedures for handling, washing, drying, folding, and storing to ensure cleanliness and freshness. Restocking Amenities: Replenish guest room amenities such as toiletries, towels, tissues, and coffee supplies, ensuring that each room is well-stocked and prepared for incoming guests. Inspecting Rooms: Conduct inspections of guest rooms after cleaning to ensure that standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation are met, addressing any deficiencies or issues promptly and efficiently. Reporting Maintenance Needs: Identify and report any maintenance or repair issues in guest rooms or public areas, such as malfunctioning appliances, broken fixtures, or damaged furniture, to appropriate staff for resolution. Lost and Found: Collect and log any lost or misplaced items found during cleaning duties, following resort procedures for documenting and returning lost belongings to guests. Special Requests: Accommodate special requests or preferences from guests, such as extra pillows, blankets, or specific cleaning instructions, ensuring that individual guest needs are met and exceeded whenever possible. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff, supervisors, and departments such as front office and maintenance to ensure efficient communication, coordination, and teamwork in providing exceptional guest service. Safety and Security: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and compliance with resort policies and regulations to maintain a safe and secure work environment for yourself and guests.
