Job description

Cleaning: Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and wiping surfaces to remove dirt, dust, and debris, ensuring that all areas are clean and hygienic. Room preparation: Prepare rooms or spaces for occupancy by making beds, changing linens, replenishing amenities, and ensuring that all necessary supplies are stocked. Sanitization: Use disinfectants and sanitizers to clean high-touch surfaces, such as doorknobs, light switches, countertops, and bathroom fixtures, to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria. Waste management: Collect and dispose of trash, recycling, and other waste materials in designated bins or containers, ensuring proper separation and disposal according to regulations and environmental guidelines. Inventory management: Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment, and reorder supplies as needed to ensure adequate stock levels for ongoing housekeeping operations. Maintenance: Report maintenance issues, damage, or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel, such as leaks, broken equipment, or malfunctioning fixtures, and assist with minor repairs or maintenance tasks as needed. Room inspection: Conduct inspections of rooms or areas to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and compliance with housekeeping standards and guidelines. Guest or customer service: Provide assistance and respond to requests from guests, customers, or occupants, ensuring their comfort, satisfaction, and safety during their stay or visit. Compliance: Adhere to housekeeping policies, procedures, and regulations, including safety protocols, infection control measures, and environmental sustainability initiatives. Teamwork: Collaborate with other housekeeping staff members and departments to coordinate cleaning schedules, share information, and support each other in achieving housekeeping goals and objectives.
