Job description

Cleaning and Sanitizing: Performing cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and scrubbing surfaces to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in rooms, common areas, and facilities. Room Preparation: Preparing rooms for guest arrivals or occupancy by changing bed linens, replenishing amenities, and ensuring all furnishings and fixtures are clean and in good condition. Bathroom Cleaning: Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and tubs. Restocking toiletries, towels, and other amenities as needed. Trash Removal: Emptying trash bins and disposing of waste in designated areas. Sorting recyclable materials and adhering to waste disposal guidelines. Laundry Services: Collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and ironing laundry items such as linens, towels, and clothing. Handling laundry equipment and products safely and efficiently. Surface Disinfection: Disinfecting high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, remote controls, and countertops to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria. Floor Care: Cleaning and maintaining floors, carpets, and rugs by vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, shampooing, or steam cleaning as necessary. Removing stains and spills promptly. Furniture and Fixture Maintenance: Dusting, polishing, and maintaining furniture, fixtures, and decorative items to keep them clean, shiny, and well-maintained. Inventory Management: Monitoring and replenishing cleaning supplies, toiletries, and amenities to ensure adequate stock levels. Keeping inventory organized and stored properly. Special Cleaning Projects: Performing deep cleaning tasks, seasonal cleaning, or special projects such as window washing, upholstery cleaning, or carpet shampooing. Safety and Compliance: Adhering to safety protocols, procedures, and regulations related to cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and workplace safety. Using personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary. Communication and Collaboration: Communicating effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and clients to coordinate cleaning schedules, report maintenance issues, and address customer concerns or special requests.
