Financial Management: Overseeing budgeting, financial planning, revenue cycle management, and expense control to maintain the hospital's financial stability and sustainability. Human Resources: Recruiting, hiring, training, and managing staff members, including physicians, nurses, administrative personnel, and support staff. Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and licensure requirements set forth by government agencies and accrediting bodies. Quality Improvement: Implementing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care, safety, and satisfaction, as well as to optimize operational efficiency and outcomes. Patient Services: Overseeing patient services departments, including admissions, patient registration, medical records, and patient relations, to ensure high-quality and compassionate care delivery. Information Technology: Managing the hospital's information technology infrastructure, electronic health records (EHR) systems, and health information management to support clinical operations and data analytics. Facilities Management: Managing the physical facilities and equipment of the hospital, including maintenance, renovations, and safety protocols, to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
