Job description

Housekeeping Assistance: Assist housekeeping staff in cleaning guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities. Tasks may include making beds, vacuuming, dusting, mopping floors, and replenishing supplies. Maintenance Support: Assist maintenance personnel in repairing and maintaining resort facilities, equipment, and grounds. Tasks may include painting, landscaping, light carpentry work, and basic repairs. Guest Services Support: Assist front desk staff and concierge in providing guest services, including luggage handling, transportation assistance, and delivering guest requests such as extra towels or amenities. Food and Beverage Support: Assist kitchen and restaurant staff in food preparation, serving, and cleaning duties. Tasks may include dishwashing, food plating, bussing tables, and restocking supplies. Event Setup and Breakdown: Assist with setting up and breaking down equipment, furniture, and decorations for resort events, conferences, and functions. Ensure that event spaces are organized and presentable before and after events. Laundry Assistance: Assist laundry staff in sorting, washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens, towels, and guest clothing. Ensure that laundry equipment is operated safely and efficiently. Inventory Management: Assist in inventory management tasks, including receiving, storing, and distributing supplies, equipment, and amenities. Keep inventory areas organized and maintain accurate records of stock levels. Safety and Security Assistance: Assist security staff in monitoring the resort premises for safety hazards, unauthorized access, and security breaches. Report any suspicious activities or incidents promptly to the appropriate authorities. Customer Service: Provide friendly and helpful customer service to guests and visitors, addressing inquiries, providing directions, and assisting with special requests as needed. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other resort staff members in various departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and prioritize workload. Training and Development: Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge related to resort operations, customer service, safety protocols, and job-specific tasks. Emergency Response: Assist in responding to emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, and natural disasters, by following established protocols and providing assistance as directed by supervisors or emergency responders.
