Job description

Housekeeping Support: Assist housekeeping staff with cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and facilities. This may include making beds, vacuuming, dusting, mopping floors, and replenishing supplies. Groundskeeping and Maintenance: Help maintain the resort's grounds, gardens, and outdoor spaces by mowing lawns, trimming bushes, watering plants, and removing debris. Assist with minor maintenance tasks, such as painting, repairing equipment, and replacing light bulbs. Food and Beverage Service: Assist kitchen and restaurant staff with food preparation, serving meals, clearing tables, and washing dishes. Provide support during busy periods, special events, or banquets as needed. Guest Assistance: Provide assistance and information to guests, such as helping them with luggage, providing directions, or arranging transportation. Address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a courteous and helpful manner. Recreation and Activities: Assist with organizing and facilitating recreational activities and entertainment for guests, such as sports, games, excursions, and cultural events. Set up equipment, distribute supplies, and ensure guest safety and enjoyment. Event Setup and Breakdown: Help set up and break down event spaces for weddings, conferences, meetings, and other special events. Arrange furniture, decorations, audiovisual equipment, and other items according to event specifications. Laundry Services: Assist with laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens, towels, and guest clothing. Ensure that laundry facilities are kept clean and well-maintained. Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff by adhering to safety protocols, following emergency procedures, and reporting any safety hazards or incidents promptly. Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control and stock management for supplies, equipment, and amenities. Monitor inventory levels, restock items as needed, and report any shortages or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel. Teamwork and Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other resort staff members and departments to accomplish tasks, solve problems, and provide excellent service to guests. Communicate effectively and supportively with colleagues to ensure a positive work environment. Professionalism and Presentation: Present yourself in a professional manner at all times, including wearing a clean and tidy uniform, maintaining good personal hygiene, and displaying a positive and friendly attitude when interacting with guests and colleagues.
