Hardware Technicians support and maintain computer systems and peripherals by installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing hardware. Construct, install, and test customized configurations based on various platforms and operating systems. If necessary, liaise with third-party support and PC equipment vendors. Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience. Ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories. Technicians inspect, analyze, and troubleshoot client systems and equipment. They run tests and interpret the results to make the effective recommendations to fix faulty or broken equipment. When necessary during repairs, they will source replacement parts and negotiate costs with suppliers and clients.
