Manufacturing Equipment: Hardware such as robotic arms, CNC machines, 3D printers, and automated assembly lines are used in vehicle manufacturing processes. Networking these devices allows for centralized control, data sharing, and remote monitoring to optimize production efficiency and quality control. Vehicle Diagnostics and Testing: Automotive technicians use hardware tools like diagnostic scanners, oscilloscopes, and emission analyzers to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues. These tools may be connected to a network for software updates, data retrieval, and remote diagnostics to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Telematics and Connectivity: Modern vehicles are equipped with hardware components such as GPS modules, sensors, cameras, and communication modules to enable telematics services. Networking these components allows for features like vehicle tracking, remote monitoring, over-the-air updates, and connectivity to mobile apps and cloud services.
