Job description

Concept Development: Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, or creative teams to understand project objectives, target audience, and design requirements. Brainstorm and develop creative concepts, visual themes, and design directions that align with the project goals and brand identity. Graphic Design Creation: Use graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign to create visual assets, including logos, illustrations, icons, typography, and layouts. Design print materials such as brochures, flyers, posters, business cards, and packaging, as well as digital assets such as social media graphics, website banners, and email templates. Brand Identity Development: Develop brand identity elements, including logos, color palettes, typography, and visual guidelines, to establish a cohesive and consistent brand image across various platforms and touchpoints. Ensure brand assets adhere to brand standards and guidelines, maintaining visual integrity and brand recognition. UI/UX Design: Design user interfaces (UI) and user experience (UX) elements for websites, mobile apps, and digital platforms, focusing on usability, accessibility, and visual appeal. Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to illustrate design concepts and interactions, collaborating with web developers or UX designers to implement designs effectively. Illustration and Image Editing: Create original illustrations, icons, graphics, and visual elements to enhance design compositions and convey messages effectively. Edit and retouch photographs, images, and graphics to improve quality, composition, and visual impact as needed for design projects. Typography and Layout Design: Select appropriate typefaces, fonts, and typography treatments to convey tone, mood, and hierarchy within design compositions. Arrange and layout text, images, and graphic elements in a visually appealing and balanced manner, considering principles of composition, spacing, and readability. Print Production and Prepress: Prepare print-ready files for production by setting up color profiles, bleed areas, and trim marks, and ensuring proper file formats and resolutions. Collaborate with print vendors, suppliers, or production teams to oversee print production processes, review proofs, and ensure quality control standards are met. Digital Asset Management: Organize and maintain digital asset libraries, including design files, images, and fonts, using file management systems or digital asset management (DAM) tools. Version control, archive, and backup design files and assets to ensure accessibility, organization, and security. Client Communication and Feedback: Present design concepts, mockups, and prototypes to clients or stakeholders, articulating design rationale and incorporating feedback and revisions as needed. Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, or team members throughout the design process, providing updates, timelines, and progress reports. Continuous Learning and Skill Development: Stay updated on design trends, software updates, and industry best practices through self-study, training courses, workshops, or professional development opportunities. Expand and refine design skills, techniques, and tool proficiency to enhance creativity, productivity, and versatility as a graphic designer.
