Primary Healthcare: Providing comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients, including preventive care, health promotion, diagnosis, treatment, and management of common medical conditions. Patient Consultations: Conducting patient consultations to assess medical history, perform physical examinations, and evaluate symptoms. Listening to patients' concerns, answering questions, and providing medical advice and treatment options. Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions, such as respiratory infections, allergies, diabetes, hypertension, and musculoskeletal disorders. Prescribing medications, ordering diagnostic tests, and referring patients to specialists when necessary. Preventive Care and Health Promotion: Providing preventive care services, including vaccinations, screenings, and health assessments, to promote early detection and prevention of diseases. Educating patients about healthy lifestyle choices, preventive measures, and disease prevention strategies. Chronic Disease Management: Managing chronic health conditions, such as asthma, heart disease, arthritis, and diabetes, through regular monitoring, medication management, lifestyle modifications, and patient education. Collaborating with patients to develop personalized care plans and goals for disease management. Minor Procedures and Treatments: Performing minor medical procedures and treatments in the office setting, such as wound care, laceration repair, mole removal, joint injections, and suturing. Emergency Care: Providing urgent and emergency medical care to patients experiencing acute health issues, injuries, or sudden illnesses. Stabilizing patients, administering emergency treatments, and coordinating transfer to higher levels of care when needed. Health Counseling and Education: Counseling patients on health-related topics, including nutrition, exercise, stress management, smoking cessation, and substance abuse prevention. Providing guidance and support to help patients make informed decisions about their health and well-being. Referrals and Coordination of Care: Referring patients to specialists, hospitals, or other healthcare providers for specialized diagnostic tests, treatments, or consultations. Coordinating care with other members of the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and optimal outcomes for patients. Electronic Health Records (EHR) Documentation: Documenting patient encounters, medical histories, diagnostic findings, treatment plans, and follow-up care in electronic health records (EHR) systems. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient. Continuing Medical Education: Engaging in ongoing professional development activities, such as continuing medical education (CME) courses, conferences, and workshops, to stay updated on advances in medical knowledge, best practices, and evidence-based treatments. Community Health and Advocacy: Participating in community health initiatives, public health campaigns, and advocacy efforts to promote health equity, disease prevention, and access to healthcare services for underserved populations.
