Job description

Primary Care Services: Provide primary healthcare services to patients, including preventive care, health maintenance, and treatment of acute and chronic medical conditions. Patient Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough medical assessments, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests to evaluate patients' health status, identify symptoms, and diagnose medical conditions. Medical Treatment and Management: Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and referrals to specialists or other healthcare providers as needed. Disease Prevention and Health Promotion: Educate patients about preventive healthcare measures, screenings, vaccinations, and lifestyle behaviors that promote health and well-being. Encourage regular health screenings and immunizations. Chronic Disease Management: Manage chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and arthritis through ongoing monitoring, medication adjustments, and patient education to optimize health outcomes and quality of life. Acute Care and Urgent Care: Provide timely evaluation and management of acute medical conditions, injuries, and illnesses, including infections, injuries, and minor surgical procedures. Health Counseling and Education: Offer counseling and education to patients on a wide range of health topics, including nutrition, exercise, stress management, and smoking cessation. Address patient concerns and provide support for behavior change. Coordination of Care: Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, specialists, and healthcare facilities to ensure continuity of care and comprehensive management of patients' health needs. Medical Records Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, examination findings, treatment plans, and progress notes, in accordance with legal and professional standards. Patient Advocacy: Advocate for patients' health and well-being by addressing their needs, concerns, and preferences in healthcare decision-making. Respect patients' autonomy and cultural values. Emergency Response: Respond to medical emergencies, provide first aid, and stabilize patients in urgent situations before arranging transfer to higher levels of care or emergency medical services. Continuing Medical Education: Stay current with advances in medical knowledge, guidelines, and technologies through continuing medical education (CME) activities, professional conferences, and self-directed learning.
